           Outstanding Students:
After 40 years of teaching, we can now look back on the progress and accomplishments of former students.  Yes, heredity, money, many teachers, parents and role models, etc. go into to making of a top musician.  However, if one studio has a much high percentage of successful and acomplished students than other studios, that studio and private teacher must have had a pivital role in guiding , modeling, and molding those students.  For what it's worth, here are some, but not all, of ProMusic's most notable private students. 

                     Brian Liddle  String Bass Attended Curtis Institute of Music, performed with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, has been for many years a member of the string bass section of the Minneapolis Symphony. 

                     Philip Magallanes Piano/Keyboard "one of the best keyboardists in America, today" toured with "Blood, Sweat, and Tears," Arturo Sandoval, and Englebert Humperdinck and many others; attended North Texas State, composer, music director, musician see: www.philmagallanes.com/biography .  
                      
                     Winston Stone clarinet/saxophone lecturer at University of Texas at Dallas, performed at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, Off-Broadway, Mobile Jazz Festival, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Grand Teton Music Festival, Arundel Music Festival at Arundel Castle, England, and the East Texas Symphony; see: www.winstonstone.com.
